It might be an overcast start to our day, but sunshine will be back later on this afternoon (especially for communities south of I-16). The stubborn area of low pressure that was locked in across the South Carolina and North Carolina coast over the weekend will start to push off the coast later today. This will allow for sunshine to finally return!
Because of some sun this afternoon, high temperatures will be warmer than the weekend. We are going from mid 60s for highs Saturday and Sunday to upper 70s to low 80s this afternoon.
More sunshine will be overhead through the rest of the work week with a few clouds here and there. No chance of rain after a few lingering showers this morning. Highs remain near average in the upper 70s to low 80s and morning lows will wiggle in between the 50s and lower 60s…
