Lions Club of Savannah: “Trees for Marines”

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Lions Club of Savannah (LCS) wants to spread holiday cheer to Marines stationed on Parris Island and at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) in Beaufort, S.C.

For a $100 donation, a 7-to-8-foot Frasier Fir tree will be donated to an enlisted Marine’s family this holiday season.

All proceeds from Lions Club fundraisers benefit the Lions Club’s humanitarian services for the sight impaired. Each year, LCS provides assistance to hundreds to obtain eyeglasses…
