SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Savannah State University (SSU) has announced the panel of judges who will serve during the 2025 Homecoming Parade.
The judges for this year’s parade are:
Carol Bell – The first African American female manager for the City of Savannah in 1976 and served local government for 38 years.
Jennifer Davenport – Vice President of Community Affairs and in-house counsel for the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce.
Vernon Donovan – A 2007 graduate of Savannah State University. Since graduating, he has owned and operated a State Farm agency for over 14 years.
Ronald McGee – A graduate of Benedictine Military School and holds a BBA in Business Management from Savannah State College (now University).
“We are honored to have such accomplished individuals as our judges for this year’s Homecoming Parade,” said Moncello Stewart, SSU Homecoming Committee Co-chair. “Their diverse backgrounds and deep commitment to our community will ensure a fair and inspiring evaluation of our parade participants.
