Hardeeville man sentenced in Jasper County jail fire

RIDGELAND, S.C. (WSAV) — A Hardeeville man has been sentenced to 25 years for his role in a fire at the Jasper County Detention Center that injured 10 people.

Carlton Alexander German, 39, pleaded guilty Thursday in Jasper County General Sessions Court to second-degree arson and conspiracy.
