SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — In the midst of the government shutdown, the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is business as usual, according to a spokesperson.
Wednesday marked day 29 of the shutdown. This week, air traffic controllers and other federal workers received pay stubs that showed $0.00.
Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport has had no cancellations and only a few small delays since the government shutdown began, according to Lori Lynah, Senior Director of Marketing and Air Service Development.
