Beaufort County will be packing up its beach chairs as a near-record cold snap comes for the Lowcountry.
While Monday brings sunshine and a high in the lower 50s, more cold air will move down overnight. Lows will dip below freezing overnight, bringing a wind chill as low as 18 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Charleston.
