BEAUFOT COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) — A fourth suspect in connection to the 2021 killing of a Bluffton high school football player has pleaded guilty.
Shayniah Void admitted in court to 3 different counts of assault and battery by mob. She will serve 17 years of a 25-year sentence with 5 years of probation to follow.
She and her brother Jayden are accused of contacting the men who shot and killed DJ Fields while he was driving down Bluffton parkway in what is being called a deadly case of mistaken identity.
The pair called Jimmie Green to alert him to the prescence of “opps” or opponents that Green was looking for to commit violence against. Fields and his friends were “not” those people…
