SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Uncertainty is growing for Chatham Area Transit (CAT) riders as Chatham County officials threaten to end their long-standing agreement with the agency by June, citing concerns that the transit system is prioritizing tourists over local residents.
For many who rely on CAT, the potential fallout is alarming. Debra Goldwire, a daily rider, said losing service would upend her life.
