HARDEEVILLE, S.C. (WSAV) — The Hardeeville Police Department (HPD), Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) arrested Matthew Kyliel Bolden Jr., 24, Friday morning after executing a search warrant in Ridgeland, S.C.
The warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation involving a felon in possession of firearms case and multiple motor vehicle break-ins reported in the Argent Boulevard area of Hardeeville. The investigation also follows a previous search warrant executed in October 2025 at the same residence, where officers recovered trafficking-level quantities of illegal drugs, narcotics and stolen property.
When the officers arrived on the scene at Orange Grove Road, the suspect, Matthew Kyliel Bolden Jr., barricaded himself inside the residence for several hours.
