SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — With the holidays and Black Friday near, downtown Savannah is expecting a surge in visitors and shoppers, and with that, parking is always the main concern.
The Savannah Downtown Business Association has announced the dates of holiday free parking, allowing people who wish to shop or stroll under the downtown holiday lights to do so without incurring an extra expense.
Free parking will be allowed all day at any city-owned parking garage only during the following dates:
- Every Tuesday and Wednesday, starting Dec. 2 until Dec. 24
- Black Friday on Nov. 28
- Small Business Saturday on Nov. 29
- Christmas Day on Dec. 25
- New Year’s Day on Jan. 1
