SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – After a chilly day yesterday, temperatures will rebound today with pleasant highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Clouds will gradually increase later today and into Monday as our next system approaches.
Tomorrow will be a bit cooler with highs only in the low to mid 60s. A cold front nearby will bring a mostly cloudy sky and the chance for a few stray showers to start the workweek. The heaviest rain, however, is expected on Tuesday. As the front stalls to our south and an area of low pressure moves in, we’ll see widespread rain and storms along with breezy conditions throughout the day. A few inches of rain are possible with this system, which should help chip away at the rainfall deficit we’ve built up over the past month.
Once the system moves out, sunshine returns for Wednesday and Thursday, though temperatures will dip back into the upper 50s and low 60s…
