New Hyundai Mobility Training Center in Ellabell Brings Job Opportunities and Workforce Training to Our Community

Georgia has opened the Hyundai Mobility Training Center of Georgia in Ellabell. The 89,000-square-foot facility can train up to 824 people at a time. It is expected to support about 8,500 jobs at the nearby Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) campus by 2031. Governor Brian Kemp attended the opening and spoke about the state’s efforts to develop a skilled workforce for the project.

The training center is part of Georgia’s workforce development efforts, which have attracted companies like Hyundai Motor Group. The success of Kia Georgia’s training center influenced Hyundai’s decision to invest in the area. José Muñoz, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company, said the partnership aims to provide training and support Georgia’s manufacturing sector.
