CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) reported that internet is expected to be down at all district facilities through the end of Monday.
A spokesperson said, “We want to assure our parents that teaching and learning continues, and school remains on regular schedules. Our technicians are working with our internet service provider to monitor the situation and ensure our network returns to full functionality as soon as possible.”
The outage is due to a suspected fiber cut in the area, a spokesperson said. Web service and email throughout the district’s schools and offices are expected to be affected, but phone service remains functional…
