SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Savannah Police Department (SPD) confirmed that a gunshot victim entered St. Joseph’s Hospital on Tuesday.
An SPD spokesperson said that the shooting appeared to have happened in Chatham County Police Department’s jurisdiction. The investigation will be turned over to the CCPD.
A CCPD official said, “SPD just informed us that someone walked into an emergency room in their jurisdiction claiming to have been shot in an area that’s in our jurisdiction. We have no independent confirmation of any information regarding the location or circumstances of this and are working now to find out more.”…
