SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — On Dec. 19, the City of Savannah will celebrate the restoration and reactivation of the historic Forsyth Park Fountain with a community celebration.
Mayor Van Johnson, members of Savannah City Council and City Manager Jay Melder are scheduled to attend a brief program from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Following the program, residents and visitors are invited to gather at the restored fountain for holiday-themed activities, including photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, light refreshments and other family-friendly events. Commemorative keepsakes will also be available…
