“It’s terrifying”: Locals react to Forsyth acid attack

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — WSAV spoke with members in the community on Saturday about how they are feeling just a few days after an acid attack took place.

A Savannah woman was rushed to Augusta Burn Center on Wednesday evening after a man walked up to her and threw acid at her near Forsyth Park.

The victim, Ashley Wasielewski’s son Wesley, told WSAV that she needs skin grafts and is going to be in the hospital for at least a week. He said the situation is traumatizing…
