SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The suspect charged with killing a Beaufort County woman nearly 40 years ago is now out on bond.

According to court records, Cortez Lake posted bond and was released from custody last Friday just after 5 p.m. He’s charged with killing Margit Schuller back in 1987.
