SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The familiar sound of bells ringing in front of grocery stores signals the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign, but this year donations are falling short of their goal even as the need for support continues to rise.
The Salvation Army Savannah Corps has raised about $67,000 of their $125,000 goal. The target represents the 125 years the organization has been in Savannah.
Money raised during the Red Kettle Campaign goes toward running their shelter, feeding families and offering services and support for residents in need. All money raised stay in the Coastal Empire…
