SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – After a bright and breezy day, winds have subsided and now we drop in temperatures with an inland freeze for Saturday morning. High pressure will prevail over the weekend, with another cold front that’ll slide through impacting us Monday. .
We had 10-20mph winds this afternoon after a very gusty morning, some gusts topped out at 46mph in Statesboro and 36mph in Savannah. Winds have slacked off and we will slide down the thermometer.
Saturday: 32° in Metter, 36° in Savannah, and 40° at the beaches, we all warm to the 60s for highs; 60° on Tybee and 66° in Jesup with abundant sunshine…
