SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – After a very warm, spring-like weekend that even tied a record high of 80° on Saturday, a sharp change is on the way. A strong cold front will move in from the west today bringing a noticeable blast of colder air.
Ahead of the front today, the sky will stay mostly cloudy, but temperatures will still run above average, climbing into the low 70s. A few spotty showers are possible as the front passes, and winds will become quite gusty. The breeze will shift from the southwest to the northwest this afternoon, with gusts reaching up to 30 mph at times.
Clouds will begin to clear this evening, allowing temperatures to drop quickly. Overnight lows will fall to around freezing, setting us up for a much cooler start to Tuesday. Highs tomorrow will only reach the upper 40s to low 50s as colder air settles in behind the front…
