SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The Stay Safe Charlie project was created to help children stay out of harm’s way in scary situations through programs, books and music.
The initiative was created in the United Kingdom by Steve Collins. Collins formed a unique friendship with Georgia musician Paul Hughes, which brought the mission to the United States.
Hughes has been spreading awareness about the campaign through the song “I Could Be Your Hero.”…
