Pet owners now told ‘keep your animals inside’ under strict law

A STRICT regulation regarding where pets are to be kept during winter is set to be heavily enforced ahead of the coming cold.

Pet owners who don’t follow the law could find themselves hit with fines as high as $500, and potentially even jail time.

Experts and officials in South Carolina’s Beaufort County are now warning locals of the dangers of exposing their pets to the cold ahead of the dead of winter, and the potential repercussions of doing so.
