Amelia Kay Abernathy was born on Jan. 2, 2026, at 8:21 a.m. She is the beloved daughter of Kassandra and Andrew Abernathy and the little sister of Adrien and Ethan.
“Each new year brings hope and renewal, and the birth of our first baby of 2026 is a wonderful reminder of the joy that new life brings,” said a Liberty Regional Medical Center spokesperson. “We are honored to share this special moment with the Abernathy family.”
