The 2026 Emancipation Day program was held on January 1, 2026 at Connor’s Temple Baptist Church. Bishop Thomas Sills, Pastor, served as Worship Leader.
The service began with a Call to Worship with the congregation singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Rev. Bernard Clark, Pastor of St. Philip Monumental AME Church, delivered the Emancipation Prayer.
