SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Savannah Mayor Van Johnson held his weekly press conference for all things happening in and around Savannah.
The City recently celebrated the 80th anniversary of the I&D Water Treatment plant, which featured the groundbreaking of its expansion — a project supported by a $500 million investment allocated at the state level, for which $146 million was designated for water infrastructure projects in Savannah.
“We know that clean, safe water is foundational to everything we do, from daily life to economic development,” Johnson said. “This investment really ensures that our city continues to plan ahead and not reacting later.”…
