Nearly $1 million invested to expand health care access in Chatham County

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Access to healthcare in Chatham County is getting a major boost.

The Chatham County Hospital Authority Trust has awarded $964,000 in grant funding to four nonprofit organizations working to provide critical health care services for uninsured and indigent residents. The funding was distributed through a competitive grant process and marks the Trust’s second year of grant awards.
