JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) – [UPDATE] The South Carolina Highway Department confirmed a fatal collision that happened early Wednesday morning.
The collision, between a 2026 Toyota Camry and a 2022 Peterbilt tractor- trailer happened around 5:05 a.m. on I-95 north at the 1 mile marker, according to SCHP.
The Toyota Camry was traveling north on I-95, while the Peterbilt tractor-trailer was stopped in traffic. Highway patrol said the Toyota Camry hit the back of the Peterbilt and the driver of the Camry died…
