SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — For nearly three decades Savannah’s MLK Day Parade has featured Grand Marshals. The position honors local citizens whose lives reflect service, leadership, and Dr. King’s legacy. This year, that honor goes to Leroy and Olga Williams as the 2026 Grand Marshals.
One of the main roles of that honor is leading Savannah’s MLK Day parade as thousands of people will line the streets to watch the parade. WSAV sat down with Leroy and Olga Williams who were honored not just for their service, but for turning personal loss into a lasting legacy of change in our community.
