CCPD charges 2 people in hit and run homicide of 14-year-old

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – The Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) has filed vehicular homicide charges in a hit-and-run that killed a 14-year-old traveling on an e-bike.

Thursday morning, the CCPD’s Traffic Unit charged 32-year-old Miguel Reyes-Castro with:

  • Felony first-degree vehicular homicide
  • Felony hit-and-run
  • Driving without a license

The registered owner of the vehicle, 29-year-old Olvin Antonio Ramos-Ramos, was also charged with felony party to a crime.

Both men received the warrants at the Chatham County Detention Center. They have remained in custody without bond since they were first arrested on December 29, 2025, for their involvement…
