Local man arrested on stalking charges; Investigators looking for possible victims

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — A Savannah man has been arrested on multiple charges associated with stalking, and officials are looking for more possible victims.

The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office’s (CCSO) Special Investigation Unit has arrested Nathaniel Crawford, 24, of Savannah, on charges of criminal attempt at kidnapping, stalking and criminal trespass.

According to CCSO, the suspect is believed to be a serial stalker, which would mean these charges stem from a stranger-on-stranger incident and are not a domestic-related case.

Crawford has previously spent time behind bars after he was arrested in 2023 for three prior aggravated assault convictions, as well as cruelty to children and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies…
