POOLER, Ga. (WTOC) – A crash report narrative from Pooler Police details the events leading up to a crash involving a school bus at the intersection of Pine Barren Rd. and Pooler Pkwy. Monday morning.
According to the crash report narrative, the driver of the school bus said he was making a left turn from Pooler Pkwy. onto Pine Barren Rd when the crash occurred. The report narrative said the driver of the school bus told police that he believed he could make the turn before the other vehicle involved, a black 2022 Toyota Corolla was at the intersection, but he misjudged the Toyota Corolla’s speed.
While making the left turn, the school bus was hit by the Toyota Corolla. Police spoke with a witness who said they did not witness the impact, but advised that the Toyota Corolla had a green light and school bus should not have attempted the turn…
