SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The man accused of shooting and killing another man on Oct. 31, 2025, was indicted by a Chatham County jury Wednesday.
Edward King is charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
His charges stem from the death of 61-year-old Rufus Smalls.
Officers responded to near the intersection of W. 34th Street and Ogeechee Road shortly before 1:30 p.m. based on ShotSpotter reports. Once there, officers discovered Smalls who had been shot, a police spokesperson said…
