SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – We have not had back to back snow years in over 100 years in Savannah. In 1917 it snowed .10″ and in 1918 it snowed .5″. Last year we officially had 1.1″ of snow, and this year, we could pick up an inch again in Savannah.

A Winter Storm Warning is in place for Candler, Bulloch, Effingham, Screven, Jenkins, Emanuel, Hampton, Jasper, and Beaufort Counties. Anywhere in those areas could see 2″ of snow with isolated accumulations approaching three inches in northern Screven and Hampton Counties. Roads will be impacted more in these areas…
