SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Happy Snowy Sunday! I Hope everyone got to enjoy the snow!
We are under a Weather Alert this morning due to dangerously cold wind chills and bitter temperatures. Our low temperature is still expected to drop a few more degrees as we get closer to sunrise, and we’ve already broken the old record of 23°, which was set back in 1977. We’ll continue to monitor just how low that temperature goes this morning.
Winds are gusting between 30 and 35 miles per hour out of the northwest, pulling in that bitterly cold air. With those winds, it’s feeling closer to the single digits outside. Before you head out the door, remember the Four P’s: people, pets, pipes, and plants…
