The man who allegedly shot and killed a veteran in November was charged with felony murder by a Chatham County grand jury on Jan. 28.
In the early hours of Nov. 12, 2025, Jeremy Scarth is said to have fatally shot D’Angelo Shaw behind Lucky’s Pub. He has since been arrested and charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
