Georgia Civil Rights Trail highlights Savannah sites & history

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — February is Black History Month, a time to reflect on the people and places that shaped the fight for civil rights. Across Georgia, historical markers are helping to tell those stories through the Georgia Civil Rights Trail.

Here in Coastal Georgia, dozens of sites highlight the local leaders, movements, and moments that changed history. You have likely seen or recognized these historical markers around town.
