BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C (WSAV) – Beaufort County Sheriff PJ Tanner told WSAV on Thursday that deputy training for an immigration task force is finished and the program has already begun in the county.
“It’s here. It’s done. We have a contract with Homeland Security, and we have a program and we started that several months ago,” Tanner said. “We were heavily involved in it. You haven’t heard a lot about it because were very covert in what we do.”
