SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — There was an officer-involved shooting at Frazier Homes at the 600 block of Emerald Drive near May Street Saturday afternoon.
According to Savannah Mayor Van Johnson, officers from the Savannah Police Department (SPD) were called to respond to an incident at Frazier Homes at approximately 2:40 p.m. According to Johnson, “at some point or another,” three officers were involved in a “use of force” incident that resulted in one civilian being injured.
The individual was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Johnson said. No officers were injured during the incident.
