SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – A community call to action is set for Saturday, February 28, as local leaders gather for a “Stop the Violence” rally at Hudson Hill Community Center.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and brings together elected officials, law enforcement leaders, faith leaders and community advocates under the theme: “Black History in the Making.”
Organizers say the rally will spotlight historic leadership milestones in Chatham County, including the county’s first Black female district attorney and first Black male sheriff.

- Dr. Marilyn Jackson of the Daughters of Mary Magdalene
