SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – On Friday, the Chatham County Sheriff’s said its Special Investigations Unit executed warrants charging Jimmie Alexander Jr., 37, with party to a crime of aggravated assault in connection with a viral aggravated assault in Pooler.
Alexander is the third person arrested in the case.
Investigators said Alexander recorded the assault on a cellphone and later shared the video on social media, where it circulated widely. Posts associated with the video remained online for an extended period.
