SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Family, friends and more gathered Saturday morning to honor the life and legacy of Chef Joe Randall.
Savannah culinary legend Joe Randall dies at 79
The celebration of life was held at St. Paul CME Church and featured multiple speakers, prayers and musical performances.
Randall’s oldest son, J. Christopher, remembered his father in his speech, including how he embodied his nickname, “Chef.”
“He loved to cook, and when he cooked, he did it with love,” he said. “You could taste it with every single bite. Bon Appetit. He loved to serve, and he served with a smile. He loved to entertain, and boy was he great at it.”…
