PORT ROYAL, Sc. (WTOC) – The Junior Service League of Beaufort will host its second annual Scales & Tails Kids Fishing Tournament on March 28 from 10 a.m. to noon at The Sands Beach Boardwalk, offering children 12 and under a family-friendly opportunity to learn fishing while promoting outdoor activity and environmental awareness.
Tickets are $10 per child, and bait will be provided. Families are asked to bring their own rod and reel, as well as sunscreen and water. Tickets are available in advance through Eventbrite.
Organizers say the tournament supports the league’s mission to enrich the lives of children and families across Beaufort County.
