JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) — The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office warned the community about scammers posing as a member of the JCSO and asking for money.
The JCSO released a statement saying that scammers are telling people over the phone they have missed jury duty or have an outstanding warrant. The scammers then demand money to avoid the phone call recipient from being taken into custody.
