‘Love is the first word’: Family honors life of Savannah teacher Dr. Linda Davis

POOLER, Ga. (WSAV) — Family members of Dr. Linda Davis, a beloved Savannah teacher killed last month when a driver fleeing immigration authorities crashed into her car, said they want her remembered not for how she died but for how she lived.

Davis’ wife of nearly four years, Consweulo Davis and her older sister, Andrea Chang, said love defined every part of her life, from her family to her students.

“Love. Love is the first word and the first feeling,” Consweulo said. “Linda loved life. She loved her kids. She loved her family. She loved her job. She loved her students.”…
