SOUTH CAROLINA — One person was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Jasper County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Authorities said the crash happened around 6:44 p.m. on West Furnace Road, about eight miles north of Ridgeland near the intersection with Gregory Neck Road.
Master Trooper William Bennett said a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup and a 2012 Chevrolet Suburban were both traveling north on West Furnace Road when the Suburban ran off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle then returned to the road and struck the pickup…
