Savannah man accepts plea deal for 2024 shooting death

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – A Savannah man who shot and killed another man nearly two years ago walked out of a Chatham County courtroom Friday on probation.

William Duffin, 34, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault charges in a negotiated plea. The case stems from the April 2024 shooting death of Tejahn Tatmon, 28.

Duffin pleaded guilty to four charges: two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
