Strange Bird reopens in Savannah, while NaRobia’s closes its doors

Over a year since Strange Bird closed due to damage from an overnight fire, the neighborhood restaurant in Savannah’s Victorian District is set to reopen this Friday, March 13, according to a post by Savannah Made Simple. Strange Bird was initially launched as a food truck in 2019 and serves lunch and dinner, including its popular menu item, the birria burger.

It has operated out of the restored streamliner train car at its current location at 1220 Barnard Street since 2023. Strange Bird is owned by FARM Hospitality Group, which also owns FARM Bluffton, Common Thread, Flora and Fauna Bakery and Supper Club, and The Wildflower Cafe.
