New Chatham County District 4 Commissioner appointed

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — The Chatham County Board of Commissioners has appointed a District 4 Commissioner.

Shirley Sessions has taken the 4th District seat, according to the Chatham County Board of Commissioners website. This comes after Pat Farrell announced his bid to represent Georgia’s 1st Congressional District in 2025.

WSAV News 3’s Tina Tyus-Shaw reached out to Session who told her she was appointed to the position in a special session called this morning by Chatham County Commissioner Chester Ellis and the County Commissioners.
