Defense seeks new trial for man convicted in fatal Chatham County assault

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) – A man recently found guilty of punching another man and killing him in Chatham County now wants to delay his sentencing.

In December, a jury found Charles Alexander Teeple IV guilty of several crimes connected to the death of Bruce Helmly.
