Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia marks 114th birthday at Savannah founding site

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia celebrated the 114th birthday of Girl Scouts of the USA with a public gathering at the historic First Headquarters, located at 330 Drayton Street in Savannah, on Wednesday.

The celebration took place at the site where the first Girl Scout troop meetings were held. Juliette Gordon Low founded the organization in Savannah on March 12, 1912.
